So yeah, I finished my dissertation a few months back and submitted it to the university. The process for completion then runs like this: the uni sends it off to several international examiners who return examination reports. Once I receive these reports I will make any changes they recommend – hopefully they are few and minor 🙂
– then I have the beast bound and I submit it for final publication. With any luck, this will all be wrapped up by the end of the year, and then I can move on to new pastures – I’m currently biding my time doing sessional (casual) teaching work at the University of Melbourne in three different faculties, Media & Communications (Lecturing for Media Futures & New Technologies), Music (teaching composition) & the VCA (teaching at The Centre for Ideas). It’s been good to clear my head, with a break from the research, though I’m now the teaching is keeping me pretty busy!
